Deep thoughts
From a shallow mind
Passion bleeds
The writer blind
Darkness never brighter
Heavy never lighter
Object of my own decipher
This is how a character forms
Life expires
When the heart conforms
Diamonds shine on lying fingers
Desire lingers in the loins
For those who marry
Flipping coins
Annoying conscience
Remembers so well
The happiness that
I could not sell
To any anxious buyers
And so aimless
I took fire
To my seasoned wood pile
Stacked like bones
Of dreams that died
Somewhere in the worthwhile
Moments I ignored
Advice I chose but could not grasp
With both my fists
As all I had to fight with
The past is ash
The future ignited
Undecided
I stood beside it
And let the two
Tear me to pieces
Words that dare not
Be repeated
Echo in lost confidence
Sworn to secrecy
Completely incontinent
Content to compliment
Burning ears
This.... WOW!!!!! This one is worth framing! This might be my new favorite. I can't pick out my favorite line because this one can't be split up like that.
